TestingRelay Engine · Trend scalps · 4h to 5m

A scalper that never trades against the bigger picture. It reads four charts from the top down, and each one only gets asked its question once the chart above it has said yes. The 4 hour picks the side, the 1 hour confirms the trend is actually moving, the 15 minute waits for a proper pullback, and the 5 minute times the moment the trend starts again. It scans every liquid crypto perpetual, every five minutes.

The rules it runs, in plain language

  • 4 hour, the direction. The 21 average above the 55, price above the 55, and the 55 rising over the last day. That allows longs only. The mirror allows shorts only. Anything else, it stays out of that coin.
  • 1 hour, the trend. Same side as the 4 hour, both averages rising, a real gap between them, and that gap not quietly closing. Lines drawing together without spreading out is a trend ending, not a dip to buy.
  • 15 minute, the pullback. The last strong leg has to give back at least half of itself, without a 15 minute close beyond the deep end of the fib. At the same time price has to have reached the band between the two slower averages. The fib and the averages both have to agree.
  • 5 minute, the entry. The fast average crosses back over the middle one on a closed candle going the trade's way, and price is not already stretched far from the averages when it happens. A late cross is skipped, not chased.
  • The stop goes just past the pullback low, and never closer than the normal size of one 5 minute candle. The target is the high of the leg, where the resting orders are. Risk has to be between 0.2% and 2.5% of the entry, and the reward has to be at least 1.5 times the risk after fees.
  • One trade per leg, a six hour pause per coin after any call, at most 4 open at once and 2 new per heartbeat. Alt longs are refused while Bitcoin's own hour is fully bearish, and the mirror for shorts. Weekends it watches but does not trade.
  • A scalp that has not paid in 12 hours is closed at market. Every result is booked after a 0.10% round trip in fees, because at this size fees are a real part of the move.

The three averages are the 9, 21 and 55 from the moving averages lesson, so every call here can be checked against the article.

Why four charts and not one

Most scalping losses are not bad entries. They are good looking entries taken against a bigger chart that was going the other way. A 5 minute buy signal inside a 4 hour downtrend is a short squeeze at best. By the time a coin reaches the last step here, three bigger charts have already agreed on the direction, so the 5 minute is only deciding when, never which way. That is also why it is quiet most of the time. When the charts disagree, which is often, it does nothing.

TESTING means the record above is built live, call by call, wins and losses alike, with no backfill. It graduates to auto deploy only if the record earns it. Research signals, not financial advice; markets are risky and past results never promise future ones.
